How do I get paid?


When you complete a research project, your fee, minus our commission, is credited to your provider account on the site. We retain the fee in a non-interest-bearing escrow account for seven days after completion as a fraud-protection measure.

To retrieve the funds you’ve earned, log in to your Genlighten account, click on the “Your Genlighten” link at the top of the page, and then click on the “Get Paid” link on the left. Once you arrive at the Provider Account Administration page, follow the instructions under the heading “How Do I Get Paid?” You’ll be guided through the process of transferring your earnings to your PayPal account. It’s simple. Just make sure your email address is correct and click the “Payout” button. The transfer to your PayPal account is immediate.

If you don’t have a PayPal account yet, you’ll receive a message from PayPal with instructions on how to complete the transfer of your balance to your PayPal account. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you’ll be invited to create one. You will not be charged any fees associated with this account.
