How will I know I have a new message?

Genlighten will send you email notification whenever a new message is posted to your account unless you opt out of that feature (click on “Email Preferences” under “Your Account” on your dashboard to set email preferences.) but sometimes those emails get caught by spam folders. Please add Genlighten to your list of contacts to minimize the chances of that happening.

It’s also a good idea to log in and check for messages if you’re a client waiting for a response from a provider or a provider looking for requests from clients. If you have something new in your inbox, the “Messages” link at the top of the screen will be followed by a number in parentheses.
