Dekalb Co. Cemetery Census 1845-1971

1845-1971 Research of every grave in every public and private cemetery in the county and recording it in this book. An attempt was made to show family relationship and designate the cemetery, if in the county, where buried. The authors do not claim to have found EVERY burial due to the fact that stories have been told of graves that can’t be found now or were farmed over. Not all had markers or evidence so they are marked with an X. Some markers are broken or not readable. If the author knew that the person has moved away, not having a death date on the headstone or was buried elsewhere, they have indicated it. Surnames are listed in the back of the book in alphabetical order. Some pictures are also scattered throughout.
